Winter studless tire designed for excellent snow and ice traction. Performs superbly on dry and wet pavement in cold temperatures. As temperatures drop below 7 degrees, so does an all-season tire' s ability to grip the road- translating into longer stopping distances and less driving control. The ExtremeWinterContactTM is built to conquer the road with confidence- even in the coldest winter weathers.

  • Improved dry handling
  • Swift Removal of water
  • Excellent traction and braking on snow
  • Reduced braking distances in snow and ice

Had this tire comes for my 06 Acura RSX Type-S. It is my first winter driving experience. The winter in Winnipeg, MB is horrible and nasty. During the early winter period(dry and wet), the traction is pretty good. relatively quiet but not spectacular in terms of acceleration. I drive moderately in the city. However, it starts to show its weaknesses in Snow. It understeer so bad, I had to literally reduce my speed to clear the intersections and the front tire start to slide sideways; what a joke! In addition, just pulled out from the gas station and stuck in snow just before entering the road, so I had to reverse and pass by the plow side of the exit. Please avoid this tire ever.

Really surprised how after only one season of use, these tires are virtually useless. While they pass the "toonie" test, breaking and acceleration are both quite tragic. Never again will I buy a continental product.

(P185/65R15) Best Tires Ever. I purchased a used set 3 years ago and just replaced them for the exact same ones (brand new) just recently. Highly recommend these tires as I travel extensively for work and have never had any issues with these tires regardless of the weather including heavy snow areas.
