The CS5 Grand Touring™ has innovative technologies and is engineered for real-life performance on real-life roads. The CS5 Grand Touring™ provides long lasting ride comfort in a wide range of sizes to fit most modern passenger vehicles and SUVs.

  • The secret to any tire´s traction begins at the molecular level. Silica provides exceptional all-seasonal performance, improves braking, reduces heat generated in the tire and lowers rolling resistance for better fuel mileage. Cooper´s unique blend of silica has up to four times more silica than the previous generation of premium all-season tires which dramatically increases this tire´s performance. The CS5 Touring™ will be the first to use Cooper´s New Generation Coupled Silica Compound.
  • 3D Micro-Gauge Grooves™ are an innovative technology that allow the tread elements of the tire to interlock which stabilizes the tread. This maximizes tread contact with the road surface to grip the road better in wet conditions and light snow resulting in superior handling and increased traction.
  • Advanced 5-rib Asymmetric Tread Pattern design reduces irregular wear by allowing tires to be rotated from one side of the car to the other. The result is sustained tire performance with even wear, less noise, and increased overall tread life. The asymmetric pattern also allows the outside of the tread pattern to be tuned with large, rigid tread elements for superior dry handling and traction while the inside is optimized for wet and light snow conditions.

I recently purchased these tires 7/2019. I immediately noticed a traction issue from stopped position to moving in rain or on wet pavement. I assumed I may have given it too much gas, since the tires are new. There is not a problem with sliding it’s only when gaining traction or stop to start in wet, icy or even just above zero temps. It became very apparent when the weather changed and I am spinning at stop lights trying to get going. I even had a terrible scare trying to travel up a hill and was actually burning rubber on my front tires trying to get up an icy hill. Cars, junkers, everything was passing me as I tried to drive up a hill this past December 2019 at the Festival of Lights in Milwaukee. I truly thought my 2014 mini van may slip back down the hill. I did finally make it up the hill and was very angry at the place that put on the event for not salting the area. Once I thought about it, it was my vehicle that had trouble and has ever since I got these tires. I went back to the place of purchase and they said the tires are hardly worn. These are faulty tires and I’m willing to pay for 4 new tires less than a year later to prove my point!

DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES!!!!!!!! Had these tires installed & aligned on my 2015 Subaru Forester 2.0xt Premium this Saturday. Got on the freeway to check out the ride. Found a straight part of the freeway, got up to 70mph, let go of the steering wheel to make sure they're stable. My SUV immediately pulled left hard. kept driving a bit and hard to always fight the steering wheel. Went back to the tire shop and they checked the alignment again. Everything balanced. Got back on the freeway to do the test. Again immediately pulled hard left. Come Monday morning go back to the tire shop. They rotate the tires and do the alignment for the THIRD time. Everything is balance. Got back on the freeway to do the test. Again immediately pulled hard left. These are the worst tires I've purchased in 30+ years of driving. They are dangerous to drive on at speeds 60mph+. DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES

I am a automotive service technician and these tires are amazing in the summer, by far the best tires I have ever run, beats Goodyear, Toyo, Michelin. They go through deep puddles without even pulling the car which is awesome! some people in reviews have mentioned they are bad in snow... what do you expect they are a higher end all season tire with a tire rating of 780AA, not meant for winter, get winter tires that's what they are made for!
