I've had Coopers on other trucks and drive the ST Maxx's in the non salt times on this one and they are outstanding, but they really dropped the ball with these. While the tread wear is good they fail in the conditions you want a winter tire; Icey roads and that light slick snow fall. I've spun all 4 in not even 1 cm of snow with anything but a light throttle. Pretty bad when a tuner Honda beats a 4X4 from a light and passes you on the highway. They handle awful! Very soft sidewall gives a bouncy ride, poor directional stability. You can air them up and pretty well fix those issues but then they're even worse in the snow. These conditions have got worse every season. Bought these so I did not have to use 4X4 every little snowfall and that plan failed! In heavy deep wet snow they do work good. Maybe 245-76-16 would be better, but I'll likely switch back to Firestone Winterforces and pawn these off for whatever I can get for them!

Terrible. After 28,000 miles across the tire, tread wear was not legal. Tires rotated by dealer every 5,000 with services. Cooper measure the deepest tread INCLUDING the side lugs, so according to them the tires still had plenty of tread, but not according to the State and common sense safety. Cooper was horrible to deal with for me and the Dealer. The said b/c the tires were "big" the tire pressure on this truck needed to be around 60 psi according to their chart for that truck, but b/c Ram door plate was 49, Cooper recommended not to inflate to 60 (after they said that is was needed) as that would void the warrantee; made no sense. In the end they gave me 28% off towards another set. So I did. Now I have 23,000 miles on this new set and I'm slipping around everywhere in the Vermont winter. Since I'm taking the time to write this long review, you can sense how much distain I have for Cooper. Never, ever again Cooper. Just bought BFG T/A KO2, and as with previous purchases, LOVE them. Wasn't worth saving the money with the Cooper. Don't buy Cooper ... bad tires and they don't stand behind them!
