FITMENT GUARANTEE

The Cooper Zeon LTZ™ was developed as a hybrid between a sport truck tire and an all-terrain tire. The aggressiveness of the Zeon LTZ™ can tame any road surface while providing excellent ride and handling capabilities.

  • All Terrain Design. This modern design features a combination of sweeping lateral grooves and functionally patterned tread elements to provide dependable all-terrain performance. The optimized pitch sequence helps provide even tread wear and reduced tread related noise.
  • Lug Tie-In Zones. These zones incorporate raised, serrated "lug-locks" between the tread block elements to reinforce the tread pattern for enhanced steering and traction.
  • Alternately Scalloped Shoulder Lugs. Shoulder lugs are alternately scalloped and offset for improved traction on soft surfaces like mud and sand.
  • Long "Two Z" Element Siping. The use of dual "Z"-shaped sipes on each tread lug help provide for long, dependable traction in all-weather conditions while balancing tread element stiffness for tread wear and handling.

The Cooper Zeon LTZ has transformed the off-pavement capability of our Range Rover Evoque over the stock tire (Continental CrossContact UHP P235/55R19). There aren't very many all terrain tires for 19" wheels and the Zeon LTZ hasn't disappointed me once. On road performance is great. The tires are louder than the Continentals, but there's less road noise than I expected. As I write we've just returned from a three week road trip driving from Vancouver, down the coast to LA, through the Mojave desert to Death Valley, Las Vegas, through central Oregon and back home. We put 6,500 km on these tires in all types of conditions including hundreds of kms of dirt roads, loose gravel, sharp volcanic rocks, desert hardpan, salt crust, deep sand, mud, and compact and deep snow. We never got stuck or had any traction issues. For Evoque owners, these will fit the stock 19" rims fine with no rubbing. I ran stock pressures (32 front, 36 rear) on the highway and aired down to 20 psi for traction in deep sand. We brought along a full-size spare on our trip. With this tire, the spare will barely fit in the trunk with the load floor removed.

Do not recommend! Worst tires I have bought in 40 years.

Love the tires but after some wear they become very noisy going down the road. Use them here in Alaska year round. Put the set of 245/50R20 on my truck. There is absolutely no logical explanation for how well this truck handles with these tires. I drive 200+ miles 1 way thru the mountains with more curves than a supermodel, twice every other week. The dry road handling defies all logic.

Great SUMMER tires. I have a set of 20 inch on my suburban 1500 which I take camping with trailer or jetskis. Heavily loaded and I drive aggressively on asphalt and gravel. Very happy with grip and noise levels. I previously had General Grabber UHP which grabbed better but were eaten up in a season . The coopers have little or no wear in the first summer. Highly recommended for summer. I pulled them in November.

Horrible for anything other than dry summer weather, fresh powder and heavy wet snows you are okay. When it comes to snow packed roads or ice they are a let down. Wet streets in summer it has no problem spinning. They have more noise level than i expected, more noise than my old terra grapplers. Not annoying loud or anything being in a truck with exhaust it over powers the noise. I have only put 6k on them and wish they were gone, will not buy again unless they are a summer set only.
