SP® Sport 5000 Ultra-High Performance All-Season Radial

Ultra High Performance All-Season tires are for driving enthusiasts who want a combination of a performance appearance, responsive handling and Z-speed rated (or higher) durability along with all-season traction, including in light snow. Ultra High Performance All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sports cars, performance coupes and high performance sedans

O.E. Ultra High Performance All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires’ performance category and specifications

  • Large, stable, interconnected tread blocks provide exceptional dry cornering grip and stability.
  • Independent inner tread blocks with open shoulder grooves ensure maximized water dispersion and all-season grip.
  • Full-width, twin cut steel belts provide dependable ride uniformity and excellent contact patch shape.
  • Max Flange Shield (available in select sizes) helps protect alloy wheels.

Worst tires I've ever had on a car! 3 flats due to potholes (not large ones) in less than 1200 miles. I have driven the same commute for 3 years with lower profile non-runflats (OHTSU) with no issues (245/35/20 & 275/30/20). The road noise is almost as bad as an a truck on 35s. I'd rate that and comfort at zero if it were an option. Dealer finally agreed to take these tires off and replace with Michelin AS3. After doing so it's like having a completely new car. Over 3500 miles with new tires on same commute and zero issues. Avoid the Dunlop Sport 5000 DSST RF like the plague!

Lexus GS350 - 22550R17 - Good dry handling, but nothing else is good. Terrible wet handling and even worse on snow...even the smallest amount. Tires do not stop on even a dusting of snow...very dangerous. Will never buy again.
