The AZENIS FK453 is the latest generation of Falken´s steadfast Ultra High Performance tire, available in a wide array of diameters, from 17-inch to 22-inch, along with staggered widths, making this tire versatile, resourceful, dynamic, and powerful. In addition, FK453 features the latest developments in noise-absorption technology, and incorporates a high silica compound that presents better dry and wet grip. The multiple nylon-reinforced layers allow for better high-speed stability, an important asset based on the driver´s exacting demands.

  • A NEW SILICA COMPOUND for better dry and wet grip.
  • SPECIAL "FALKEN FEATURE" F-ARROW IDENTITY brand new sideway that enhances the overall look of the tire.
  • THREE WIDE CIRCUMFERENTIAL GROOVES effectively evacuate water and significantly improve hydroplaning resistance for outstanding wet handling.
  • MULTIPLE NYLON REINFORCED LAYERS designed for better high speed stability, plus new optimized casing profile offers better contact with the road for increased handling, particularly in the area of lane change maneuvers.
  • ASYMMETRIC TREAD DESIGN with large outside shoulder blocks, provide enhanced cornering and better braking traction while reducing tire noise.

I bought these to replace a set of Michelin Pilot Sports, two years ago. Purchased for performance rather than longevity of tread, I was looking for something grippy and fun to drive. The performance was very disappointing, the tires slipped terribly even in dry conditions, especially when on a slight incline. Forget about wet, you're going to be spinning out with even a slightly aggressive start. Now, 2 years in, I'm replacing the whole set, as a front tire no longer hold air due to a sidewall leak. Going back to Michelin, never should have left. Avoid these tires.

I bought these tires because I heard so much good about their predecessors the FK-452 and my local Falken dealer told me they were better, so I bought them. I must say, I LOOOOVE them. They handle the road like champions, look sporty, feel really smooth on the road and are not noisy at all. Yesterday I had a big road hazard and needed to replace one tire quickly (Lump). That's normal, any tire would have suffer that much with such a hole. Anyways, the fact that I needed a new FK-453 to replace made me want to see the difference between new and old because owners on this forum said they were wearing fast. The old ones only have 10k of use and I see a difference of 1/8in compared to their new companion... I mean, that's a lot, but considering the price and the satisfaction on the road, would I purchase them again? Yes, probably. There just a joy to play with !

I bought these tires to replace the very good but very expensive Pirelli P-Zero that came OEM on my Mustang. I drove the Falken for 2500 Km, both on the roads, streets and track for lapping and drag racing. I can say that the FK453 grip like hell, even more than the Pirellis. They are very predictable. But the downside is the noise. Dont get me wrong, I am young and I like my Mustang to be noisy, I paid thousands of bucks to have my exhausts pipes rumbling and when I listen to music, its loud. But the FK453 are really noisy compared to the Pirellis and all other tires I drove. I cant get use to it, so be prepared to stick to the road, but to hear them a lot.
