Handled the Coq. back in late Nov. very well. Excellent snow traction during the big storm I was passing thru. Wet and dry handling before and after the Coq. were very good, but the conditions weren't as extreme as the snow, but I can give at least a 4 for what I dealt with. They ride very well, not harsh at all, with only a slight bit of road noise. Not sure yet about treadwear.I recommend these and would definitely buy them again.

These tires are great for their price and deliver good performance for a 'light' winter tire. They do not inspire a great deal of confidence with dry grip but are very predictable in both dry and wet conditions. The tires do squirm a little compared to dedicated summer tires but that is expected with the smaller and softer tread blocks. Comfort and noise are both good and the treadwear is acceptable for a winter tire that drives in Southern BC winters where it is in contact with wet/dry pavement more often than snow/ice and around 10C to -10C temperatures. The fronts were down 2/32nd's of an inch and the rears 1/32nd of an inch in approximately 5000 KM which included a driving style not conducive to maximizing tread life. The tires held up well in last year's BC winter storms and was very predictable on snow. Ice performance is probably worse than a more aggressive winter tire but is still acceptable - remember to drive to the conditions, don't try to drive like it's dry pavement simply because these are winter tires.
