The WILDPEAK AT3W is engineered for adventure, any time and in any weather. The AT3W combines aggressive off-road ability and rugged terrain driving without compromise on the pavement. An optimized tread design combined with a silica tread compound enable the AT3W to excel in three areas: wear, winter, and wet performance. Designed for severe snow conditions, every AT3W tire is qualified by the Rubber Manufacturers Association for the Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake (3PMSF) symbol. The AT3W is packed with technology, from Falken's patented 3D Canyon Sipes to an all-new proprietary lower sidewall. Full-depth sipes and grooves maintain consistent performance and appearance throughout the life of the tire.

  • OUTER APEX SIDEWALL
features a secondary bead apex that acts as a heat shield to protect the internal casing of the tire, resulting in confident handling and durability with the added benefit of sidewall protection on rough roads and trails.
  • 3D CANYON SIPE TECHNOLOGY
interlocks the shoulders to resist wear from high torque as well as providing additional handling stability.
  • AGGRESSIVE UPPER SIDEWALL
along with offset shoulder blocks protect the tire from sharp rocks and provide additional off-road traction at low tire pressures or in off-camber situations.
  • SILICA TREAD COMPOUND
delivers superior wear life and wet performance (non-LT sizes).
  • HEAT DIFFUSER TECHNOLOGY
in the lower sidewall dissipates heat to protect the internal tire components. Keeping this critical area of the tire cool ensures vehicle stability even when towing or carrying heavy loads.
  • RUGGED AND RIGID TREAD BLOCKS
feature support ramps and step-down features that provide tread-pattern rigidity in the contact patch, enhancing vehicle stability and handling while also preventing stones from becoming trapped in the grooves.
  • DEEPEST TREAD IN THE CATEGORY*
provides long lasting wear as well as consistent snow and hydroplane resistance throughout the life of the tire (*LT Sizes, 20/32nds inches).

Just installed these tires on my Tundra a few months ago but WOW...VERY NICE. They are not loud, a little louder than stock but not crazy. I have a magnaflow exhaust in the truck and it’s louder than the tires. Since I had them installed we have taken several long road trips and the tires are comfortable. They seem to do well in the dry and the rain. Had them through the field a few times without any issues also. Honestly, this is better than the BFG’s and Goodyear tires I had before and light years ahead of the Michelins ATs that came on the truck. It’s always tough buying new tires because once you buy your stuck them but Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

These tires replaced the Firestone Destination LE2 tires on my 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport double cab, short bed, manual transmission vehicle. The Firestones are a good tire but I think the Falkens are better. Road noise, handling, wet/dry traction, ride comfort are all really good keeping in mind it is still a truck, not a sedan or sport utility vehicle. I haven't had them on snow yet but I don't have any reason to believe they won't handle winter without problem either - bonus for me is they are rated with the M/S and Mountain Snowflake so I can run them all year. They don't turn the Tacoma into a sports car but they provide a really stable, predictable and safe ride without too much road noise. Haven't taken them off road but will be heading onto some logging roads later this month, will see how they handle the loose gravel, dirt and mud. Will post again in a year to address treadwear; I am running them a bit higher than the Tacoma placard on the door, 32psi front/30 psi rear.

I have had these tires for about 20k miles I really like them my only issue with them so far is I have had to get 2 new tires the first time I was driving down a main road at about 40mph and the side wall of my tire just blew out the guys at the shop I go to (America’s tires) said they have never seen somthing like that happen before and then a few months later I noticed that I have 3/4 of a tread block missing on the outside of my front driver side tire yes I may not be the safest driver and I do use my truck as a truck it’s more a work truck and I do take it in the mud and things like that but the tread block didn’t look like it was ripped off from a rock or anything like that it looks more like it was cut off and it goes all the way down to the cord and I have no idea what caused that to happen no I haven’t hit anything or ran over anything that would do that to a tire other than that happening with them they are good tires I haven’t ever gotten stuck with them other than in the snow
