Tires are noisy, hard on gas and twichy above 140km/hr. In slushy conditions they are great. On ice/hard pack they are managable/acceptable In snow: They are the best tires I have ever had on the car. With these tires the car is a 500HP snowmobile.I can't really comment on wear because no tires seem to last long on the car....... I have had 4 other/different sets in the past. The only tire that was close were the original tread Goodyear Nordic from Canadian Tire. (They have since changed the tread to a quieter, wet/ice biased tread and thereby sacrificed deep snow traction) I had a set of very expensive "Best Snow Tires on the market" on once: I drove through one snow storm and changed them out. If your main focus is snow traction, these tires are spectacular. Real traction ALWAYS comes with compromise. No tire will ever give awesome traction in all conditions regardless of what the manufacturers advertise. I am very dissapointed when I see the tread of the Winterforce 2. I suspect it is quieter etc than the "1" and easier on fuel but snow traction ?????? I may try them if I can't find something more aggressive.
