We purchased these tires for our Silverado for camping, fishing, and hunting in SW New Mexico. These tires have yet to leave us anywhere and have gotten us to our destination every time. When elk hunting in northern NM, we drove through 14" of snow with no problems other than truck clearance, but the tired got us through with no problems. Liked them so much, had them put on our Subaru outback as well and allowed the Outback to go places no other car had gone before. These tires will also be put on any other vehicle we buy!

Bought these tires in 2010. Have put about 50,000 miles on them sense then. Still have good tread on 3 of the 4. Have a similar wear problem as described below. Rotated tires every 7000 miles all of them wore fine but one. Great in the mud and snow. Probably see how the do with another 5000 miles on them then shop around for something new. Good tire but not the best for mileage other than the wear issue on one of them.

I bought 4 new Grabber AT2 tires in the summer of 2013. I love them. Super aggressive tire. They go everywhere and anywhere I want. I November 2013 (approx. 8,000km) I noticed the tread was lifting upwards against the forward rotation on the passenger tire. The driver’s side and back tires were fine. I took it back to the dealer who said they’ve seen a few cases of this and the main cause was poor wheel alignment. They checked the alignment and whatever else to make sure this wasn’t the problem and agreed the tire was defective. It took a month to get a replacement tire. Within a month it had lifted so high it was affecting the steering and I had to replace it with my spare while I waited for a replacement tire. I kept checking the tires right up to the middle of summer and they seemed fine. I just checked again (approx 26,000km) and it is happening again to both front tires. Has anyone had similar problems with these tires? Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

My particular size meets the severe snow service requirements but is not a dedicated winter tire meaning you can drive it year round. Still in the middle of winter here in southern Ontario and they kick the snow's butt. I am so satisfied with the performance of these tires that I will not hesitate to buy again when the time comes. Way to go General tire.
