FITMENT GUARANTEE
All orders are verified for fitment guarantee.

We know that on the road a split second can mean the difference between an unfortunate accident and a lucky escape. Goodyear’s new Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tire features our latest ActiveBraking Technology. Using innovative 3 dimensional block design within the tire tread, the tire’s contact with the road increases when braking. This induces a reduced braking distance in wet and dry and may give you those extra split seconds you’ll thank for a lifetime.

  • ActiveBraking Technology Increases tire contact with the road under braking conditions Reduces braking distance in wet and dry A Conventional block: no transformation B 3 dimensional block design: more contact when braking (load transfer)
  • A light weight construction reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emission Improves steering and handling on dry roads
  • Tread compound Improves wet grip and dry handling performances
  • Quiet ride

I had Continental DWS tires in my A8, they wore out in 18k miles. My current tires are Eagle F1 Asymmeric 2's, driven 40k miles and still lots of tread left with same car and same driving style. Possible reason is DWS being softer (and less noisy) and A8 is a heavy car. F1 2's noise levels are higher than DWS's. Dry and wet traction is very good; not so good in snow.

Particularly noticeable for lack of tyre noise and resistance to white lining compared to the original fit Pirelli P Zeros
