These DuraTracs are the third set of tires I've had on my Xterra and by far my favorite. I'm especially impressed with their traction on snow. They are a tiny bit "squirrely" on pavement, but their performance off-road and in snow have been a worthwhile tradeoff for me. Perhaps this "squirreliness" would be a bigger issue on a heavier vehicle? I don't know. When I first got them, they were pretty quiet on the road for an all-terrain tire. At almost 50K miles, they've been getting quite a bit noisier. There's still a lot of tread life left on these tires, but, if they get much louder, I might need to replace them before they're due. Despite their great snow traction, they're not great on wet pavement. I would advise against aggressive driving on wet roads with these tires. All in all, I really like these tires on my Xterra. I will probably replace this set with another set of DuraTracs.
