The Road Venture MT KL71 is the perfect choice for the street bound 4X4 that wants the ultra aggressive look of an off road tire with large rim diameters. My tyre 31x10.5 R15LT. I loved these tyres- never slid once (appropriate driving to conditions) on our wet greasy roads with stone chip well depressed into bitumen. My truck was surefooted and accurate, even up to 140km/hr when overtaking. Never got stuck offroad (that wasn't driver error)- but widefootprint had trouble on a hill with long wet grass, instead of cutting through to grip the earth. It stepped out once on black ice, but back into line smartly (thanks to Lotus suspension) I drove these up to skifields for 4 seasons, only had trouble on ice. Noisy tyres- but I didn't mind, given the roadholding. Not flash on wear, but that's a no brainer compromise for grip and safety. Replaced with Maxxis Bighorn 764's on the advice of a trusted mechanic, and my truck wanders all over the road, runs wide on corners and feels too fast at 100km/hr. Biggest mistake- I would go back to KL71s in a heartbeat!!!

Worst tire I've ever purchased. Used only during the season when off-roading, used AT's in the winter. They were completely unsafe on the highway after 8k miles. After 3 of us had this issues we reported problems to the distributor and finally were in touch with the Kumho rep after dozens of phone calls/emails. Even with proof of 2 alignments and balancing and perfectly fine AT's (all documented info sent to Kumho) they did nothing. I have 10k on my BFG's and they are perfect.

My first set I bought was used about 50% tread left and I love how these tires never stop grabbing. It doesn’t matter what terrain. Definitely going to by another set. Also I run 35x12.50 17 when the tires get about 25% tread the humm and howl on the asphalt but to me that’s music in my ears I love being able to hear my tires rumble. Previous owner of the set I bought was from a buddy who put about 45k miles on them

I spent about 6 months looking for new tires for my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I have 35" tread with 20" wheels on a 3" lift. I previously had cooper discovery tires and looked at getting the same set but the price was to steep. I began shopping around looking at the different brands, reviews and treads for the different conditions. I live in maryland and needed a nice highway tire for the hot summer and snowy winters. When i finally made my purchase of these tires over a set of nitto tires i couldn't have been happier. These tires are beyond a smooth ride, the sound is extremely quiet and not the loud rumble you'd expect from the aggressive look of the tire. We just a pretty bad ice storm and my jeep and the new tires glided through the brutal weather conditions beautifully. I'd recommend these tires to anyone needing a alternate tire brand from the popular brands and expensive prices. I've only had them on for about 2 months and put about 4k miles on them and haven't noticed any wear, a very slight increase in my MPG and a lot of compliments on the look.

I am very dissapointed with the tread life of these tires and there handling on wet roads. The tires have less that 12,000 miles on them and there are already needing to be replaced. I have nearly wrecked several times because of the lack of traction on wet roads. Off road they are alright nothing exeptional.
