They actually spent 4500 km on a brand new Ioniq I bought but the car had to be returned to the dealer (a lemon), I then bought a cheap used civic hybrid and had the tires swapped on to that (they're wider but a little less tall than the stock tires for civic hybrid). On the Ioniq they were confident, very grippy and refused to get stuck even in 9 inches of unplowed snow I had to deliver in one day. They're quieter than I would expect from a winter tire, and have excellent aquaplaning resistance. They handle braking very well and had only a minor effect on fuel economy. On the civic they continue to impress. The car is on rails in dry and wet. In snow the car is confident and drives like a heavier but still well poised machine. I found that on civic they had a habit of spinning a bit in deeper snow and on wet grass that did not occur in the Ioniq but I chalk it up to them being 10mm wider than stock civic hybrid tires, and the car weighing several hundred pounds less than the larger ioniq. We all know wider tires on lower weight has more trouble in deep snow. Most importantly the braking effectiveness on both vehicles was equal and very good. Tire wear is average so far, I'm not sure if it's the unseasonably warm winter we're having or just a factor thanks to the excellent grip. TLDR: These are actually the best winter tires I've had since they discontinued Gen II Goodyear Nordics (the gen IIIs are crap). These are good value fore money and I would recommend them for any car or suv that does not need light truck tires.

This is my 4th set of winter tires. From November till April I made about 5000 km with them and I would definitely say they showed much better performance then the other ones (Barum, Debica and Uniroyal). Excellent grip braking in dry, wet and snow conditions at temperature between +7 and -20°C. At temperatures below -10°C the rubber becomes a bit harder and the noise slightly increases, but the adhesion is still good enough. Climbing steep snowy roads with these tires is a real pleasure while other cars can't even move a meter. They cope with ice reasonably and better than my previous tires but hard cornering is not a good deal. The only drawback is that on warm dry days with more than 18-20°C (which happens in early spring) fuel consumption rises, especially when driving fast (120 km/h or more). In conclusion: for me this is one of the best winter tires for its price and I hardly recommend it. P.S. My car is Opel (Vauxhall) Astra H 1.7 diesel.
