Even when worn, the MICHELIN® Premier™ LTX™ tire still stops shorter on wet roads than leading competitors' brand-new tires.

Features and Benefits

  • Shorter Stopping
With EverGrip™ technology, expanding rain grooves widen and emerging grooves open as the tire wears, to maintain traction.
  • Hydroplaning Resistance
Extreme amounts of silica in the EverGrip™ compound provides exceptional wet grip for everyday handling.
  • Excellent Wet Grip
Sunflower oil keeps the EverGrip™ compound flexible in lower temperatures along, with many tread blocks and sipes that act as biting edges to cut through light winter conditions.

30 000km and tires are worn out cost me $1000 for 4 tires didn’t even last 2 years. Extremely disappointed! Michelin is supposed to be the best tire on the market and is definitely not the Quality expected. Going through warranty claim now wish me luck!

Over all Tire performance is good, it is very quiet and handles very well. I have always own Michelin tires. Last year I switched to Michelin Premier LTX thinking it will have good mileage, but I got disappointed very quickly I have put 47000 KM and tires are completely bold, I tried to squeeze another 5000 on it but this will be impossible. I own different Michelin tires before and was able to put 97000 on them, these tires last me 1.5 year. And they are done, I am switching to different brand now as I lost my trust with Michelin.

These tires overall ride great BUT - and this is a BIG deal in my opinion - they wear out EXTREMELY quickly. I would have given the tread wear rating a zero or LESS if I could have. To be specific, the tires have a tread wear rating of 100,000 km's. After only 16,000 km's they are already 37% worn (which means I'll be lucky to get 40,000 km's out of them. At over $250 per tire I think it's fair to expect to get close to the advertised tread wear life. It's only for this reason that I would highly recommend NOT buying these tires.

Michelin warranty is worthless.. Bought new set of Premier LTX and 2 weeks and 360 miles later one tire developed sidewall bulge and air leak. Returned to dealer where they told me Michelin wouldn't warranty as the claim all sidewall bulges to be a result of road hazards. A tire that can't drive on a normal street isn't much use. Last Michelins ever!
