The Dune Grappler™ Desert Terrain was designed for enthusiasts who spend time on pavement and desert trails. The unique flamed tread block was engineered for desert performance. The contact patch and moderate void ratio offer balanced traction in varying desert terrain. The construction strengthens the sidewall to improve puncture resistance and the tread pattern minimizes road noise to provide a comfortable and civilized ride. For on-road performance, the Dune Grappler™'s tread blocks are connected by bridges to prevent flex and provide stability. Select sizes are available in higher load ratings to meet heavyweight truck demands. The Dune Grappler™ is engineered to be tough - both on and off the pavement.

Unless you plan on driving on strictly dry pavement or gravel I would avoid these. Wet roads are the bane of these tires existence. They came on a used truck I bought so I figured I would give them a go for a little while. Only problem is I often have to drive in mud for work. To say these tires are useless in mud would be a gross understatement. These are for people that want to look like they are off-roaders. They weren't even that good in sand for that matter.

I have a set on a 14 Jeep Wrangler. The looks are great but the ride is terrible. They will shake the fillings out of your teeth. Worse ride of any time I've ever had.

Had them on my 07 tundra and they looked real nice on them. It gave a very aggresive look on the truck. Size I had were 305/40r/22. Only problem was that the tires were horrible on wet roads but great on mud and sand. Great steering and stiff sidewall for heavy loads.
