Awesome tyres in very dry conditions. I have used them for tarmac rally sprints and tarmac hill climbs. Very impressed in the dry. Never been so scared in my life. No grip at all on a damp road. Would hate to see what it is like in the rain. Outstanding on the track. Wear rate is pretty low. After 2 Hill climbs they are 100% worn out. Good value for price but I think there is better options

Intro: Using these tires on the track for HPDEs on a BMW 1M. Had previously used Michelin PS2s and Yokohama AD08s. Caveat: I have not driven these in the wet or snow. Background: Just ran the NT01s on track for the first time last weekend -- ambient temp 96 degrees, -2.5 camber up front. Driving group is intermediate. Aimed for 36 psi hot. Initial impression: LOUD! These tires sounded like a truck on the 100 mile drive up to the track. On track impression: Pleased with grip -- incrementally better than the AD08s, although not the night-and-day difference I was perhaps expecting. Handles heat better and did not get greasy. Gives you audible feedback before giving up. The not-so-good: be sure to research the NT01 tread splice issue before you buy so that you know what you're getting into!!! My driver-side rear tire is exhibiting some splice -- I'm planning to rotate it to the passenger-front ... hopefully this will cause the splice to close. This was on tires with a 2014 production date. So far, I'm pretty happy with the tires despite the splice issue. If the splice seals, I'll be happy enough to probably buy again, although I'm tempted to check out the RA1s ...

Do not drive this tire in snow or icy conditions. Very dangerous. I have never been afraid to drive in the snow but now I am with this tire. I feel I have no control in snow.

I am very satisfied with this tire. Have used it on both short tracks and Nurburgring, and it performs very well. Can also be used for daily driving. Far less noise than my old tires. Lots of grip and confidence. I have bought new for 2012 season
