Does This Tire Fit?

The first Ecopia tire designed specifically for CUVs and SUVs, the Dueler™ H-L 422 Ecopia offers low rolling resistance without sacrificing performance on wet surfaces. And because of its fuel-saving tread compound, this attractive all-season tire helps achieve better fuel efficiency.

  • FUEL SAVER SIDEWALL COMPOUND helps to lower rolling resistance by returning more energy back to the tire and helps reduce heat generation as compared to a traditional sidewall.
  • CONTINUOUS RIBS provide traction and reduce heat buildup on tread while decreasing noise.
  • SILICA-BASED FUEL SAVING TREAD COMPOUND helps to deliver improved rolling resistance, which contributes to reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions while delivering strong wet traction.
  • CIRCUMFERENTIAL GROOVES help channel water out of the footprint area to improve resistance to hydroplaning.

I live in BC in the LML. A lot of rain. These tires are excellent for where I live. Excellent handling even up to 160km/hr. Excellent wet road and rough road handling. Still in the green after 3yrs on treadwear on routine inspection (@65k km). AWD vehicle. ABS almost never engages, even downhill stopping on wet paved hills. Confident accelerate and merge on uphill wet roads. Excellent stop-short performance around bikes and texting pedestrians. Note: These tires are good in wet mild snow, but do not stop well on ice (~35ft stopping distance at 60km/h in ice); drive to conditions, or alternatively install M&S.

35k miles on a 65K warranty tire. Do not buy. Edges wore down, but still good in the center. Discount Tire will not give actual prorate. They tried to blame it on over inflation and/or alignment which, of course, conveniently absolves them of responsibility. They refused to rotate my tires because they are "bad". Bad alignment will not wear out tires evenly on all four tires. It is just wrong to go in for a rotation on tires that are just over half their warranty life and be expected to shell out $700 for new tires.

First year silent and comfy, than the tires became louder and after three years don't hold very well the direction.

I've had these tires on for 4 years and 40,000 miles at an original cost of $650 and zero repair cost. Just cost of regular rotation. Very pleased with performance. Use nitrogen fill.

Good three season tire. We live in Northern Michigan, and they're close to useless in the snow. Horrible cornering and stopping in the snow.
