Azenis PT722 is Falken's first ultra high performance, all-season tire, with a deep tread depth and long lateral groove, for anti-hydroplaning and stability in the wet. • NEWLY DEVELOPED WIDE STEEL BELTS that are stronger than normal cord, offer better wear and performance.
  • LONG LATERAL GROOVE reduces hydroplaning and provides excellent driving stability in wet conditions.
  • UNIQUE RIB GROOVE inhibits irregular wear by enahancing rigidity of the tread.
  • DEEP TREAD DEPTH improves mileage and increases longevity.
  • JOINTLESS NYLOn CAP PLY & LAYER increase durability at speed and in wet conditions.
  • HIGH DENSITY CASING PLY improves wear resistance.
  • TREADWEAR INDICATORS regularly informs drivers of proper rotation timing.

Very long lasting tires, the problem with this is that after some time the rubber turns hard and this I think causes them to loose traction. Awful performance on wet roads, I find myself constantly spinning my rears taking off at green lights. Cornering under the rain is fun under controlled conditions though. Changing them for Sumitomos after finally one of them suffered from separation.

These tires were already on a car I recently purchased. Quiet and decent treadwear. Fair to poor in the dry. Absolutely horrible in wet or snow conditions, as the exhibit dangerous oversteer and lack of stability.replacing them ASAP regardless of the fact that they are only at 50℅ treadwear as I fear for my life when it rains or snow's.

I had these on a 1976 Datsun 280z. These tires contributed to the collision I had in said car. Late summer morning, sunny, dry, cool road. Had to slow down quickly due to getting cut off, and the wheels locked up, causing the car slid like it was on ice, no squeal or noise. This was with maybe 5000km on the tires. Worse in wet weather: ANY wet road surface will cause hydroplaning. If you want a decent touring all season tire, get cooper cs5's. Much better tire for the money.
