Spirit of the All Season Performance Tire

Imagine an all season performance tire designed to offer true grip and increased traction that ultimately advances driver confidence whatever the weather condition. With the ZIEX ZE912, Falken has developed a tire with full-depth sipes encircling the tread, coupled with high-volume circumferential grooves and high angle variable cross grooves, that bring together the spirit of performance driving in all climates. When faced with wet conditions, the ZIEX ZE912 features increased hydroplane resistance and increased tread stability by evacuating water away, delivering improved grip composure, while its hybrid-asymmetric pattern produces better dry performance and genuine touring confidence during each and every season. The result is a tire that performs regardless of the condition of the road.

  • Hybrid-Asymmetric Pattern Design – Optimized inside and outside tread patterns to ensure all-season grip on demand
  • Infinite Sipe Sequence – Full-depth sipes throughout the entire tread platform creating biting edges that dramatically increase traction in all seasons
  • Rotation Wear Indicators (RWI) – Falken engineered visual cues that help the driver maximize tire life and overall tire value, prompting regular tire maintenance
  • Four High-Volume Circumferential Grooves – Designed to deliver increased hydroplane resistance and maximum stability in wet conditions
  • High Angle Variable Cross Grooves – In inclement weather conditions, these grooves effectively evacuate water away from the contact patch

Great tire for value. Not the best in any category, but for the price it is outstanding. No noticable wear to date 90% highway miles.

In even just an inch of snow it is completely impossible to accelerate from a stop if there is the slightest uphill incline. Even on perfectly level ground it's a struggle and a danger in traffic. Turns are a nightmare. Once you work up speed you can maneuver, but the only way up a hill in snow is to gather momentum before the incline. If you stop for any reason, like to avoid an accident, you have to let yourself roll back down once traffic is gone and try again. This is NOT an all-weather tire by any stretch of the imagination.

Worst tires ever! For the first time since I got my car in 2010, I can't make it up my own road in a light snow. I slide backwards horribly! Even my son's 2003 Mazda 6 (same car, 7 years older), with the cheapest tires we could buy him makes it around successfully! These tires were fine until winter. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!

These are easily the worst tires I've ever owned. I had them put on in January, and they have ZERO traction in the wet or snow. A week later, I got stuck halfway up a hill and had to reverse back down and try again - all of this in traffic. This was in an average wet snow storm. I can't believe these are an all-season tire. They even suck in the summer too. I've put about 25,000 miles on them, and there is barely any tread left. The bald stock tires I took off my 2012 Hyundai Elantra were better than these were at full tread. Buyer beware on these ones. They were cheaper, and unfortunately, I got what I paid for. I would not recommend them at all. I wish I could give zeroes for half these ratings.
