Does This Tire Fit?

The N'FERA SU4 by Nexen is a summer high performance tire that will deliver when you need it most–on wet surfaces, when braking and negotiating corners at high speeds, it will not let you down. Increased block stiffness and pressure distribution keeps tires firmly in contact with the road. Specifically designed wide and asymmetric grooves channel water away for optimal driving performance in the rain. The N’FERA SU4 also features a high stiffness rib for precision handling at high speeds. A great affordable alternative to more expensive high performance tires out there.

  • 4 Wide Longitudinal Grooves. Improves hydroplaning performance by efficient water drainage
  • Large Shoulder Block. Enhances handing performance for sports driving by reinforced shoulder bolck stiffness
  • High Stiffness Ribs. Enhances driving stability at a high speed by increased stiffness; 'Claw' shape groove is designed for improving traction performance on wet roads

Keep in mind that these cost A LOT less than the big name brands (Yokohama, Toyo, Bridgestone, Continental, etc.) With that said, they are as quiet if not quieter than the Continental ExtremeContact DWS. As far as handling goes, it is below standard (My 4/32nd Bridgestone Turanza tires handled better). You won't feel control of the car at high speeds and you'll lose confidence when doing maneuvers at any speed. In the wet, I don't speed with these tires, since I noticed they can barely handle the dry weather. If you're doing 10 kph over the speed limit in the rain, you're fine. Anything faster than that, and you're risking it. As for dry, if you like going fast on the highway (160 kph+), forget it with these. After a certain speed, you're under the impression that nothing is gripping. They have 2,000 km on it and they still look like, so the tread life seems to be good (so far). Once again, for the price, you can't really complain. They're round, they're black and they hold air. If you drive at the speed limit or below, want something quiet and don't do any aggressive driving, these tires are for you. Otherwise, spend the extra money and get something else.
