Does This Tire Fit?

Offering two tread designs (STR & STRA), this new all season product achieves new performance levels for the latest generation of Sport Utility, Light Truck & 4X4 vehicles. The STR design is characterized by round shoulder blocks and an open tread design, whereas the STRA has a "squarer" and a more robust shoulder area with full shoulder blocks, and aggressive tread design for increased stability and performance especially with larger vehicles. The Scorpion STR offers exceptional street performance with excellent balance in off-road conditions and delivers a quite and precise ride, while providing superior comfort and handling. Purchased brand new from Discount Tire. With only 25850 miles on them they are worn down to where Discount Tire says they need to be replaced. I am very unhappy with the fact the Tires that were originally on the truck lasted the best. Tires were rated for 45000 miles and I got 43043 miles on them before replacing. Highly upset after spending over $750 for the 4 tires that they lasted no where near the 65000 mile rating.

This is my 2nd set of Scorpion STRs. They've lasted under 45,000 miles very disappointed. I was thinking Pirelli's would be better. Lots of road noise. Handling when tires were newer was good. Overall disappointed with trying to get help with treadwear warranty as promised when I bought them a year and a half ago.

These tires served me well for the past three years and 60,000 miles. Used for highway / dirt road - all seasons with great control throughout the Northeast. Great handling in NJ / NY highway-style driving. Comfortable on long haul driving. Minimal noise relative to that you would expect driving a Jeep. Not thrilled with the tread wear but an acceptable trade-off given the service delivered. Now in the market to replace these tires, with out hesitation going back with a set of Pirelli Scorpion STR.

I just purchased my second tire replacement of Pirelli Scorpion STR 24550R20 tires for my 2010 Ford Edge which has 102,000 miles on it. These tires perform extremely well in all weather conditions and the life of these tires is more than acceptable. The life of a tire is largely related to the structure of the thread and the softness of the tire rubber. I easily got more than 55,000 miles on my first set of Pirelli tires.

Just purchased a used 2012 Ford Edge SEL and these tires were on it. Vehicle has 66,000 miles and the tires look and feel absolutely brand new. But, they are very noisy.
