I recently put a set of Toyo Extensa A/S tires on my 2011 versa hatchback. These tires totally changed the driving dynamics of my car, in a negative way. The thick tread is made of soft rubber and my car needed much more force to get the wheels turning and more force (RPM) to get up inclines. I could not live with these tires. Fortunately the company at which I purchased the Toyos agreed to swap them out (at only a small cost to me) for Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tires. These tires are low resistance tires and SO MUCH better. My car is quick and spirited again and the tires ride smoothly and comfortably.

Positives: treadwear is decent. Negatives: traction is next to non-existent. Tire pressure is always right on spec, yet it doesn't even take half throttle to spin these tires on dry pavement (Not even a sports car). On wet roads you may as well be driving on ice because if you hit the brakes more then half, the abs will kick in. Figured since they're a good braneld but cheap that they would be decent but no. They're a mistake I will never make again, only getting summer tires next.

Tires are quiet on smooth pavement. When cornering going on/off freeway exits around 30-40 mph, I can hear the shoulder ribs rolling on the pavement - don't know if that's a good or bad thing. We have bad roads on O'ahu; I drive on hot asphalt during the day and when it flash-floods as it's been doing now, it really rains. I drive 40 miles/day, 4 days a week. Good tires - picked them up from Firestone Aiea, $473.

Had these tires for a few months, for being all season tires they're very sporty. I push my car far more than I probably should, and I've never broke traction yet. Haven't had any snow experience yet which is why I left I at 1. Would recommend to anyone looking for nice tires at this price range.
