I bought two of these tires for my Rav 4 in May 2017 from Les Schwab at $198 each, trusting their high recommendation that these were safe for my car. Shortly after installation, I was driving freeway at 70 mph on absolutely dry pavement when suddenly my car pulled dramatically to the right. That freaked me out and I assumed I had hit a bad spot on the road. This happened again several times so I decided to exit the freeway. However, once I lowered the speed to 60 mph the problem resolved. I took my car back to Les Schwab and they said it was probably an alignment issue but rotated the tires and suggested I try it again and that if it recurred my car just needed alignment. I drove at the higher speed a couple of months later and the same thing happened. It feels like someone takes a hold of the steering well and pulls it hard and quick to the right. Very scary! So I took it in to my mechanic and he evaluated and attributed it to the tires. These things are coming off and should not be legal! It is NOT an alignment problem.

These tires are great for spring, summer, and fall. they are not too bad in winter when new, that being said they were great for the first 4 years but once they got worn down to 7-8/32" they were terrible in the snow and ice. (16/32" new) they are the best quiet riding tire I have ever owned and the treadwear is awesome as I have 94000 km on them. now they are 6 years old and the rubber is getting hard and in the rain I slide around corners as they are like a slick. If I lived in the southern states or lower mainland of BC I think they would be good. would I buy them again, no not living here in Calgary Alberta. gonna go with the cooper discoverer XT - 4 or the Canadian Tire version AT/W and get a real winter tire.

It is a great tire from a performance point of view; However it increased my fuel consumption by 20%. On that point alone, I would not recommend buying this tire.
