The Yokohama Geolandar H-T-S G051 is unavailable for purchase or is currently out of stock.

For the majority of light truck and SUV owners, everyday driving is the main use of their vehicle. The integrated design and construction of the Geolandar H/T-S yields true Yokohama style and performance, delivering an excellent ride, great performance and long tread life.

  • Dynamic Spring Control (DSC) technology stiffens the lower sidewall as the tire turns and allows the upper sidewall to flex easily over bumps on the road. Resultü A comfortable ride without sacrificing steering response.
  • Large shoulder blocks provide strength and stiffness for outstanding cornering.
  • Advanced design simulations and compounding material deliver high-mileage durability.
  • Circumferential grooves enhance water evacuation.
  • Cross grooves provide more biting edges for enhanced winter traction.
  • Constant-contact tread block design reduces the low pitch noise caused by compressed air.

I was debating between Yokohama and Michelin. After reading some reviews I decided to save 20% and go with Yokohama. I greatly regret that decision, since they did not even go 50% the distance my Michelin's did. Yes they are quiet and comfortable, but they don't give you any value for the money. I was only able to get 30K mile, before I have to start considering replacing them in a perfect California climate with extremely slow and careful driving. I was hoping for at least 60K, but even driving like a 90 yr old grandpa I only think I will get 40K from them. That's awful since I take care of my car and my tires as if it was a newborn baby. Consider that I was able to drive over 100K on my Michelin's for jut 20% more cost. Now I have to pay for new tires, installation, taxes in less then half the time I did my last brand. Besides for the ride these are just awful value for your money.
