This is the 5th winter on these tires. They look ugly and the black steel rims they are mounted on don't help in the beauty department but the Slalom KSIs are actually quite capable in winter conditions. Never felt unsafe. The winter tires on my other car (different brand) are completely gone after the third winter so I'd probably buy Slaloms.

These are on my RAV4 for the 3rd winter. Still good amount of tread left and are great for winter driving. Cannot complain. I see a lot of mixed reviews and I think a lot of it is based on people's driving styles. No tires will keep you on the road if you aren't a responsible, confident, competent driver. I am a technician at Toyota and I would recommend these to any customer looking for a great winter tire.

I didn't think they were very good in the snow. I found that I had less control than the previous tires. The thing that scared me was that after two winters and not really enjoying any with these tires I decided I would wear them out in the summer and get something different. The entire side wall gave out cut right around on one side. I have never witnessed that in 22 years of driving. not impressed I am wondering if I dare trust the other three for another month.

These tires drove about 3000km and the problem was loud, humming noise above 75 km/h. While there were rails in icy road, the tires started to push car and it was very hard to keep track. While taking 90 degree corner about 20km/h, the car almost went into ditch. Wear is also too big. Price is way too much. Other than that, no problem as far as the car drives.

Handles well on wet or snowy roads. A bit noisy on dry roads but that is expected with snow tires. Feel safe with them on. Would highly recommend them.
