Compared to my previous Bridgestone Blizzak winters, these Firestones are amazing! First off the Blizzaks I had were only on for one season and I had to get rid of them because they made my car wicked twitchy in the snow and dangerous in the wet. They also burned up a third of their usable tread pattern in only 6000 kms. Brand new was 12/32. April of 2017 when I took them off the tires were at 8/32. I expected better from bridgestone. Now on to the Firestones. So damn quiet I forget I am running winter tires. In the wet and snow these GRIP! I have 100% confidence in these tires in all conditions. Just like the previous generation Winterforce tires these are stellar in sloppy wet snow, packed snow, and even on ice I have had no problems. I will definitely buy these again when needed, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a middle priced tire that has the same performance characteristics of the bigger brands. Oh and I have put 5000 kms on these and the tread pattern and sipes are still there. I have only lost 1 mm of tread depth.
