From there, General Tire engineers developed four key technologies, which provide a synergy of comfort, durability, and performance.

The Grabber HTS combines the synergy of style, durability and performance for a tire that exhibits excellent road manners and a long life.

  • DURAGEN: Ultra high strength steel belts, micro-fiber casing reinforcements, and a broad contour result in a strong, durable tire that provides even treadwear for longer mileage and confidence in challenging driving conditions.
  • ADAPTIVE PERFORMANCE: Response Grooves, Stabilink Bars and three kinds of siping result in an excellent all-season tire that promotes enhanced steering response and provides reliable performance when braking, accelerating and cornering.
  • COMFORT/BALANCE: An all-new tread cushioning system and noise-capturing pockets which provide a quieter, more comfortable ride without sacrificing responsiveness.
  • ECO RIDE: This latest-generation tread compound significantly improves fuel economy by reducing rolling resistance, and is designed to minimize CO2 emissions to support a cleaner, greener planet.

These are the OEM tires on this truck at 17500 miles all 4 tires measure less than 5/32" . They were rotated at 6000 & 12000 miles and run at 32 PSI. Winter is coming soon & these POS are coming off soon.

Times came with new truck from GMC. Performed average, but not great. Especially in the snow. Almost always had to use 4WD for any snow at all. The big shocker came in the mileage. By 15,000 miles, not enough tread for off-road or snow and at wear limit at 20,000 miles. Worst lasting stock tires for a car/truck that I have ever owned.

These tires are the worst tires I've ever owned in 43 years of driving. I run over a rock and it ruined two tires on the drivers side. The tires weren't punctured but the impact split the rubber causing a bulge making the tires useless. The tires were only 2 monthes old. They had 2100 km. On them. I replaced both tires and within 2 days picked up a small stone about 3/4" round on a paved road and the stone went right through the tire. When I called general tire I was told they have no road hazard warranty even on brand new tires. Needless to say, I will never own a general tire again

My GMC came from the factory with these tires . I had a bad vibration the first time I went 70 mph in the truck . That was at 750 miles . I took it to the dealer and they determined that it was my tires . They roadforce balanced them ,but not before switching out 2 of the tires . After switching out 2 ,they then had to switch out one more before they got tires they were able to balance . Even then they said one of them was just within spec ,but they put it on the back .4 days later I got my truck back . When I hit 10,000 miles I decided to rotate them and my vibration came back . The one tire that was just within spec could not be balanced . I will now have to buy new tires on my truck with 10,000 miles on it if I want a smooth ride . Needless to say they won't be Generals
