the driving performance of the tire is not in question, the tire handles well, however the daily wear and tear is my problem. these tires are rated for 60,000 miles, I have 26,000 miles on them and the tread is gone, I need to replace them, I was given a quote of 631.38 to replace with firestone tires, very disappointed in this tire, and I am extremely glad that when I replaced the tires on my explorer I went against the salesman that tried to sell me hancook tires for that vehicle and told me they are great tires, now I have the proof that they are not.

Hankook Optima H426 tires came on my 2011 Hyundai Elantra, which are rated for 60,000 miles. After 41,000 miles the tires are bare and have to be replaced. When calling Hankook warranty department I was told the warranty does not pertain to tires the at come on new cars. My driving is 90% interstate with little braking or sharp turns on flat roads since I live in Florida. I will never buy Hankook tires and do not recommend them to anyone who expects a long wearing tire. The tires handle good on wet and dry roads, but have more road noise than I would prefer.
