  • New hydrophilic material features superior wet grip and braking performance compared to previous carbon compounds .
  • Test results show that Optimo® H426 provides lower rolling resistance and better wet and snow performance.

Hankook Optimo H426 came on my 2014 Honda Civic Ex from the dealership 5 years ago in Richmond BC. I now have 35847 km on these tires and they were just inspected by Honda Service, the tread wear is at 6/32nds after 5 years of mostly highway driving and no signs of any issues with all 4 tires. they are wearing evenly , I rotate them every 15000 km . They still handle like they are brand new. Dry weather and rainy conditions, the tire performs like it should. I have also driven the winter months in light snow conditions and i was pleased with the performance , like any all season tires , they do what they are manufactured for. This review was written September 09/2019 Thank you !

I drive stick and live in a very snowy area and these do perfectly fine. Can't comment on tread wear but I was actually very surprised. They don't do awesome on ice, and they're not awesome in the rain. But both are still doable if you're driving carefully. No noise. Only 20k but tread wear seems normal.

These tires are only a summer dry road tire, they absolutely suck on snow or ice of any kind, numerous near accidents, lower the price or market only as a dry pavement tire only 20000 miles and they are junk

They are not the best tires but you get what you pay for only buy for summer driving. Hydroplane a lot and forget driving on snow/ice. Kinda loud compared to my truck my tires lol
