Innovative winter studless tire delivers reliable driving on icy roads. Specifically designed for slippery road conditions, the Winter I*cept is the smart choice for winter driving as a special fiber with powerful spike pin capabilities and silica which retains elasticity in cold weather give the tire superb traction.

The tire compound is too soft and the whole set of tires lasted only two winter seasons of 19000km driving. Starting uphill on ice is a bit challenging but the car awd is able to cut the rear tires power to get the car move. Replaced these crappy tires before winter with Michelin PA4 and they are a lot better especially on icy uphill roads.

Got these in a square 225/40 set up on Black Friday and love them. They are comfortable, quiet, stable, and have adequate traction in the dry and make winter driving (below 40 degrees and wet/snowy) a breeze. Recently drove through a snap blizzard that left 3 inches of snow in 30 minutes and had no issues; I was passing AWD SUVs with ease had no trouble on inclines, declines, acceleration, or braking. Obviously you can break them loose with over 300 torque to the rear wheels, but so far they’ve been night and day difference between the factory Staggered Michelin PSS. I haven’t driven them on ice much, but I did do some mountain driving after a snowstorm and was very pleased with their performance. I highly recommend these tires and will get them again once they are worn out which I don’t expect will be any time soon.
