The NT420S was specifically engineered to provide confident performance in rain or shine. The outer shoulder has large, continuous blocks to improve dry traction, while the inner shoulder channels away water for wet performance. The NT420S has a non-directional tread pattern that can be rotated front to back and side-to-side. This freedom of rotation can provide even wear across the tread and reduce the irregular wear that is commonly associated with directional tires. Even wear ensures a quieter, more comfortable ride and longer tread life. The result is a stress-free, high performance radial.

I love these tires, way better than OEM. A little noisy though. Didn’t rate snow because I don’t live in a snow area. I have used 3 sets so far, love them!

I run these tires spring through fall and have other tires for winter. I've done about 50,000 kms on them over 6 years. My only complaint is a low speed rumble/ vibration at about 30 km/h due to the tread design. At other speeds they are stable and quiet. Things that are excellent are the handling/ cornering, the low and even treadwear, and the sporty look of the tires. They have stood up well on gravel and through mud and rock-climbing, even though they're not really designed for off-road. On gravel they do tend to float a bit which makes for some fun drifting. But their main strength is pavement, wet and dry. And that they refuse to wear out.

These tires have been nearly impossible to balance and very noisy. Trucks aren't supposed to be totally smooth, but these have ruined the ride completely. They're wearing poorly and now the reputable dealer who sold them to me tells me these have a habit of wearing poorly.

These are great tires. I've had this tire on my Escalade for years and when it was time for new tires, I replaced them with the same tires. I love them.
