Does This Tire Fit?

The CP671 provides high performance with a quite comfortable ride. Designed for all seasons, CP671´s straight wide grooves channel away water to maximize traction and avoid hydroplaning on wet roads. Acceleration is no problem - the straight center rib block aides in direction driving at high speeds and the lateral groove assure reliable traction and braking.

  • 4 Straight Wide Grooves - Maximize wet traction and anti-hydroplaning performance.
  • Rapid Angle Round Groove - Maximized noise performance.
  • Lateral Groove - A quiet, comfortable ride with great traction and braking.
  • Straight Center Rib Block - Helps directional driving stability at high speeds.

These were the stock tires on my vehicle when I bought it new in 2014. I have a 35 mile commute each way daily and have put about 64,000 miles on these tires in almost 3 years. They still have decent tread and I was hoping to get through the summer before replacing. Unfortunately, my 16 year old new driver hit something last night and tore up one of the tires so I'm replacing all 4 tomorrow. They don't carry these at Discount Tire (bummer as I've had nothing but great experiences with them) so I'm trying to find them elsewhere or contemplating Michelin's as a replacement. I would definitely put them on my car again.

Developed low speed road noise before 30k miles. Found fissures on edges and between treads, not quite like dry rot; inferior material and/or workmanship? Will be replacing next month with Pirelli before the April 2017 price increases. Will not buy Nexen tires. Will not buy a new car with Nexen tires again.

Great tire. They came with my 2013 Optima. Rotated every 7,000 miles with oil change, perfect wear on all 4. No problems, even made a long trip on worn tires, no problems. Had to replace at 39,500; 2.9 years of life. I'm pleased, replaced with same tires - not having to guess at what is good or bad helps. No real problems in snow, ice is fun, but it's ice. Who has great traction on ice?
