I can't rate snow because I've been in Southern Texas since I bought them last year but driving crazy in the snow makes no sense. These tires are stiff and really hold the road. I put them through their paces as I'm in and out of traffic.

These are my stock OE tires that came with the car new. I use them as a winter setup, and they are bloody scary in the snow. At the same time it allows me to have a bit of fun to kick the tail out easily, but they are adequate when driven carefully. They are very comfortable and quite compared to my summer Potenzas. One more thing to note, even though they are 2.5lb heavier on each corner than my summer, that Extra Low Rolling Resistance rating does noticeably help save fuel.

This is the second set of these tires on my car. Both sets have worn out permaturely and quite badly. There is a lot of feathering even though I perform regular alignments and tire rotations. The first set lasted only about 40k, the second even less, at 30k! I do not recommend purchasing these tires, I will never go back to these.

I've put 30,000 km on these tires so far through two seasons of heavy rain (Vancouver BC) and snow (in the mountains). They are excellent tires that corner, hold the road and track well when cornering hard in all wet & dry conditions - and I corner hard. I bought these after putting 90,000 km on a set of Continental ContiProContacts. Almost identical in all respects except the Pirelli's were a few dollars ($20/tire) cheaper and ride slightly harder than the Contis. For a few dollars I would go back to the Contis again but the Pirelli's are great tires. Hope they last as long as the Contis.
