Does This Tire Fit?

Celsius CUV is the revolutionary variable-conditions tire with better ice and snow traction than a typical all-season tire, and longer tread life than a winter tire. Built for convenient year-round use, Celsius CUV stops up to 31 feet shorter on snow than a typical all-season tire. It also performs well on wet and dry roads, plus comes with a 60,000-mile warranty. Toyo Celsius means year-round versatility plus winter-weather safety in one.

    Variable Sipe Density
  • Inside Tread: Higher sipe density for excellent traction on ice and snow.
  • Outside Tread: Lower sipe density for traction on wet and dry roads.
  • Snow Claws
  • Improves deep snow traction.
  • Increases block rigidity for better ice and wet traction.
  • Slush Grooves
  • Evacuates slush for increased traction on slush and snow.
  • Multi-Wave Sipes
  • Minimizes irregular wear for a smooth, quiet ride.
  • Improves braking on icy, wet and dry roads.

So these seem to have a cult following but im not part of the cult. Dealers also seem to like them so maybe markup is good. They are not cheap i know that. Had one develop a bulge on sidewall with 7000 km on the front of wifes car. No damage to wheel or car. She says she did not hit anything. Honda dealer where we bought them would not replace so had to buy new one for full retail. Took very old Michelins off the car which were still ok but thought she should have better tread for winter. They are a bit noisy as the Mazda CX5 person says but driving with a bad sidewall is dangerous so had no choice. Im not sure why the CTS owner said they are dangerous since did not specify. I sent a msg to Toyo but got no response. Which normally means they dont care. Guess im done with Toyo.

I will be replacing my Toyo Celsius CUV tires after over 100 000 KM. I have had lots of different tires over the years as I put a lot of Km on in a year. By far the best tire I have ever used. I have used this tire in all weather conditions from the worst storms to the hottest days, you name it these tires were in it.....the only thing I don't do is hard off road...so no input there. As I said I was so impressed with this tire that I will be replacing them with the same Toyo Celsius CUV again. They live up to what I was told they will do.

These tires are horribly loud. They resonate a groaning sound through the vehicle with a slight vibration at 60-70mph. I had them force balanced twice. Terrible tire for the cx-5

I would stay very clear from buying Toyo tires. I bought a set and then wrote them a letter stating how terrible the tires were , never heard anything back then got into a near car accident because of these tires. Please for you and your families safety DO NOT BUY TOYO! long time driver 26 years without a accident and owned 20 different vehicles.
