stock tires were conti tires. didn't last very long. started falling apart about 11,000 miles. stock size is 265/70/18.... but they might have failed because of years not mileage. i only put about 2000 miles a year on my nissan titan truck. and the heat out here in the california desert isn't for any weak vehicles or tires. sometimes hot enough to fry an egg on the hood of your truck...Bought these open country tires because they were cheap. they are an average tire, nothing more nothing less. they are not a smooth tire or are they a handling tire. Just an average cheap tire. if you are cheap like me...they are great. but if you have the money move up to the michelin ltx m-s2 or the goodyear assurance cs in all season tread or for you off roaders move up to the hankook dynapro at-m, goodyear wrangler all terrain adventure with kevlar and the michelin ltx a/t2 all terrain truck tires thats if you have the money..you get what you pay for with these cheaper toyo...also compare prices...if i had to do it all over again..i would have bought the michelin tires...but please remember that truck tires don't rate as high as car tires...consumer reports had the michelin rated at about 74 out of a 100 points in an all season truck tire...so they are far from perfect...and the toyo rated about 62 out of 100 points...far from perfect again...so you pay a lot more for those extra 10 points if you buy the michelin tires...but shop around compare prices...look at the reviews for all types of tires...but if you are looking for a perfect tire for a truck..it probably doesn't exist... ...

Very good tires for off-road and daily use. Good and quite on motorways. Even grip on snow is mediocre, though these are not winter tires. Would definitely recommend them!

These tires are the worst! The tread wears EXTREMELY fast; I would estimate tread life is gone at 15,000 miles. My Highlander is not even 2 years old and the tread is worn off. I didn't realize how gone the tread was until a couple of days ago. We had around 1 inch of snow and I had the car in 4 wheel drive and was going around 20 mph. I ran off the road, spinning out of control. We took a look at the tread--pathetic! They look like banana peels. Now we have to replace them. BUYER BEWARE
