All Terrain, All Weather Light Truck Tire

The Toyo Open Country C-T light truck tire is designed for on-off road winter driving conditions, combining winter performance with commercial durability and traction. The Open Country C-T delivers optimum traction in all off-road conditions including dirt, gravel, mud and snow, while providing a quiet, comfortable highway ride.

The tire features a brand new compound that balances cut/chip resistance with improved winter performance. This was achieved without sacrificing durability, tread life and wet/dry handling, while delivering a quiet, comfortable ride that you would not expect from a all-terrain light truck tire.

I have had these tires for 3 years. Im in british columbia and always out fishing and going out in the boonies totally off the grid. Never had a flat yet any major chips or slices I have gone up and down shale hills bad rocks and nothing. Im up at my cabin up north when we don't have pavement in winter only ice roads and I havnt had any issue's whats so ever. I would get these tires over any other Highway they are loud and obnoxious

I have these tires on a GMC 1-Ton Extended Cab with a Space Cab (1500lbs + tools and ladders) for my work vehicle. My driving conditions vary from highway to city, gravel roads to ditches, construction sites to ice roads in Northern Alberta and BC in every conceivable type of weather. I have put this truck in places that the bearded hipsters and city snowflakes wouldn't dare traverse in a good pair of hiking boots. Never had a flat. No Vibrations, no cupping, chipping or issues what so ever. These tires will take you there and back with confidence. 75% of our fleet are running the C/T's with the hold outs running BFG's. I have put 95,000kms on the C/T's in 3.5 years and am at 3/32nds to the wear bars. The noise is not noticeable and significantly better than BFG/MT's on the other trucks. There will be a new set of C/T's going on the truck in the coming weeks as well as my personal 3/4-ton truck. I've personally done the research when it came time to recommend the tires for the fleet trucks and now have the time and experience behind the wheel with the C/T's to say that they are the tire to beat on the market today.

These tires are a lot softer than I was expecting for a 10 ply tire. They move around underneath the truck in hard cornering (swerving to hit gophers ect.) a lot more than the Nokians I took off the truck but you get used to it. Pulling a loaded gooseneck most of the time i've got 55000 KM on this set and they're probably 65-70% worn out now. I will replace them with the same thing this fall.

I have had these for a couple of thousand miles, and am seriously thinking about replacing them with something else. They are marketed as being "quieter than you might expect", but on the highway they are just slightly quieter than a mud-terrain, and have the same kiond of handling qualities you'd expect from a MT. Grip well on rocks and moderate mud, though I have not driven these on snow or ice.... These seem to be a GREAT offroad tire that combines some of the best qualities of the Toyo M-55 and the Toyo MT, but not great for pavement driving.
