I dont know what everybody else is doing to their tires but I have these on my diesel 7.3 which is a tire eating truck. The tread wear at 40000km is still great. I use the truck in Northern Alberta in the mountains all winter on ice, snow, mud, anything. They are excellent bush road tires. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews, I rotate them every 10k keep psi at 60 on all four tires. My previous winters were General at2 and they fell apart after 1 season. These are a great everything tires for harsh winters on the bush roads.
I'm on my second set of at3's and absolutely love them still. I have 7k miles on them and they still look new. I have them on a 4wd crew cab f250 that does plenty of towing/hauling with a 7.3 so this is no light truck or light duty use truck. It gets worked quite often. I've had these in every road condition possible and nothing phases them. They perform awesome in mud, snow, wet, dry conditions and have no road noise at all! (That I can hear over this lpud diesel at least). I don't have one bad thing I can say about them. They're even made in USA! I would have ran the mastercraft at2 again but they were discounted so I had to go with these and I'm very happy I did
