ive had these tires for a while now and think i have the ability to confidently write this review. when i first got the tires i was a little weary by the low cost but was amazed when it came time to drive in the snow. i hadent had the chance to put weight in the bed of the truck yet but wanted to test the limits of the tires. i was highly surprised. the snow traction is almost just as good as the dry handling. the noise is almost zero, you have to consciously focus on the sound to hear them. the handling is top notch, i have had them aired down by about 7 psi during the winter, and about 3 psi over OEM recommendation during the summer to haul loads. granted the treadwear is not perfect but i have my psi all over throughout the year so its not consistent. plus the factor that ive never rotated them. overall i strongly recommend these tires, especially on RWD suvs and light trucks.
amazing tire, snow traction was not perfect but for the way i drive im surprised they held up as well as they did. i put roughly 50,000 miles and was forced to replace them otherwise i would not pass inspection. treadwear was awesome for the way i drive. when im not goofing off racing around i use the truck on a farm and have driven through everything from pavement to cow muck to silage and gotten stuck ONCE in approximately 24" deep cow manure. overall recommend this tire.
Tires shine in the dirt and on the tracks. Stated off quiet, but after about 7000 km they started getting noisy.
At about 15000 km now and they are wearing out fast. (About 50%)
For the price though if you're looking for a second set of tires for off road only these are great.
Purchased four Goodyear Wrangler SRA tires which now has less than 30,000 km and the side walls are cracked up severely. Would of had a serious blowout if not discovered. Will never purchase another Goodyear tire again.
Buyers beware! Purchased new a set of four Goodyear Wrangler SRA tires. Recently discovered serious side wall cracking on these tires with less than 30,000km. I do not believe this cracking is normal and I think it will lead to tire failure. This was my first and last Goodyear tire purchase! Would like to know if anyone else has had this problem with these tires? Will email tire photos to anyone who would like to see.
I don't normally write reviews but this needs to be said about this type of tire that I still have on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 W/Hemi. I'm a spirited driver and like kick'n-it at times down the road. I have the Cooper Discoverer H/T Plus 305/50/20 on now from the OME Good/Year Eagle LS 275/55/20. The tread wear on these Coopers are great! I rotate and check the tire pressure regularly too. These tires handle well on dry/wet pavement and cornering as well. And I was very impressive with the way they handled in the snow/ice with some weight in the rear. The tread on these are over 3/4 gone now. I have put over 50000 miles on these tires already and will get new one's before next winter. For the price this is a good buy and they still look great on my truck and I have had alot of compliments on them too!!
