 Yokohama Avid Touring-S

Subaru gave us these tires as a replacement for the OEM tires that were faulty. We've put 60000 + miles on them with no problems. At our last PA state inspection in 2018 there was over 60% tread left. I am amazed but it's absolutely true.

 Michelin Defender

I have always been a fan of Michelin. Until now. I have had them for about 2 years with a little over 30k miles in them. They have never been a smooth, comfortable ride (which is what I expect from a Michelin tire) and were never quiet. But recently the noise has become obnoxious. Another reviewer described the noise similar to mud tires on a truck. I have to agree. They are wearing on the edges, even with religious rotating and alignments. Terrible tire especially for what I paid for them. Michelin has lost a 25 year loyal customer because of the Defender.
