 Nankang NS-20

Purchased certified from Hyundai and they put 4 new Nankang on the car - had some concerns but have proven to be really fine. For the money impressive !

I've owned two sets of these tires. Both the same result. I lose traction at 80 mph. I lose traction everywhere. And pray it doesn't rain because it'll get even worse. No matter what time of day even with TSC on I'll lose traction.

These are the best winter tires I've ever bought. They provide great traction on snow and ice. I would definitely buy them again and recommend them to anyone!

 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A

Good stock tire. But only got about 26, 000 km on the rear and they need replacing. Really hard tire which does not go well with moisture and cold temps.

 Falken Azenis FK-453

Got these tires with my aftermarket rims, great tires for a cheap price except for the treadwear. Only got like 500km on it and I can notice wear on the tires already! Probably can only use for 2 summer seasons max. They are great tires though if not for the treadwear.

 Yokohama Ice Guard IG20

At best, I'd say the IG20's are above average....but defenitely not great. In snow for handling they do their job well enough. Granted that a snow tire is more designed to keep you on the road and for stopping, but for a rear-wheel drive vehicle, they're terrible in wet conditions and uphill snowy climbs. For these reasons alone, I wouldn't recommend them.

 Bridgestone Potenza RE92A

These came stock on my new genesis. Terrible in the rain. Slide threw the first 2 gears. Dry isn't to bad. Had a few cm of snow a couple times so far this year and they have been pretty decent. Wouldn't buy these again. I'd get 1 set of good summer tires and 1 set of good winter tires. Might be fine for a car with no turbo or 300+ horse.

 Hankook Winter i-Pike RS (W419)

I bought these tire in a minus 1 configuration. First snow storm in Quebec with icy conditions. These tires performed admirably with a high level of confidence. My GC rides better in the snow and on the ice than my previous Honda Fit with Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7 tires.
