I am on my 2nd winter with these tires on my 2017 F150 limited, and I am totally disappointed. My vehicle has 18000 kms, which means these GSi have less than half that (estimate 7500 kms) on them. Tons of tread. Rubber is not old (i checked manu date) and yet, I find that this winter, I lack complete confidence in slippery conditions. The tires lose grip very easily around a corner if a bit a snow or ice. Very poor grip upon take off, tires spin like crazy, often requiring me to engage 4x4 mode just to get moving. What solidified it for me was this week my truck was in the dealer for some work and they gave me an f150 with all season tires and I felt more stable in the same conditions with ALL SEASON tires than my F150 with these WINTER Toyos. Paid good money for these tires and have had Toyos in the past with success. These, however, have been horrible and don't expect them to get better with wear.
1st winter they were pretty good in show and on ice. 2nd winter, I feel much less confident in snowy conditions and ice performance is likely much better than all season, but they still slip allot. This is my first pick up, 2nd winter with it, so all I have to compare is my first winter. I think I will have to look for a new set new winter. Btw, only have 17,000 kms on my truck, so no more than 7 or 8000kms on these tires.
Horrible in the snow! Didn’t even believe my 4wheel drive was working. If you live where you get any snow in the winter look elsewhere. . They are also rather harsh on rough surfaces. Great on dry smooth roads. Brand new truck and I am replacing them as soon as I can.
The worst tires I’ve EVER had. Less than 20,000 and will be replacing all 4 tires because the tread is gone. They don’t handle well on wet or snowy roads. Though if you contact the dealer they’re all excuses and won’t warranty them. According to them their expected mileage is 20,000-25,000. Pretty sad! Very poor quality brand.
