I put these on my F150 because I have a very steep driveway and to help with winter driving conditions. I plow my driveway (500') and the end of the road as well. My steep driveway has a ramp that has defeated every car I have owned. So I have had to go with Jeep or 4wd. With these snow tires on I was plowing through deep deep snow on a 45 degree incline without weight in the back. These tires are incredible. I never experienced so much confidence with tires before using these (less expensive) tires. I was very pleased and happy. I would recommend these if you have extreme winter conditions and want to stay safe. Have not done a lot of highway driving with these so cant be ultra specific about the noise.

Have been driving on Northern ice covered roads for 17 yrs and believe these are as good as Hakks and certainly not any noisier, better traction than studded Arctic claws.

I have theseon my 1994 Delica. Yes they are noisy but they are a winter tire built for a truck. I had to leave them on for a full year and drove to San Francisco this summer. They still have great tread left. The snow performance was good and they stick really well when it's 5c or less. No issues in the rain either.
