Celsius is the revolutionary variable-conditions tire with better ice and snow traction than a typical all-season tire, and longer tread life than a winter tire. Built for convenient year-round use, Celsius stops up to 14 feet shorter on snow and eight feet shorter on ice than a typical all-season tire. It also performs well on wet and dry roads, plus comes with a 60,000-mile warranty. Toyo Celsius means year-round versatility plus winter-weather safety in one.

    Variable Sipe Density
  • Inside Tread: Higher sipe density for excellent traction on ice and snow.
  • Outside Tread: Lower sipe density for traction on wet and dry roads.
  • Snow Claws
  • Improves deep snow traction.
  • Increases block rigidity for better ice and wet traction.
  • Slush Grooves
  • Evacuates slush for increased traction on slush and snow.
  • Multi-Wave Sipes
  • Minimizes irregular wear for a smooth, quiet ride.
  • Improves braking on icy, wet and dry roads.

Great all-around tire in dry, wet and snow conditions! Quiet, handles well and good treadwear. May not be as good on ice as some winter tires, but not bad. They also look good on my Volvo XC60. I plan to buy them for my Honda Odyssey as well.

Bought Toyo Celsius tires for my 2018 Volvo S90 t6 AWD – Wow what an excellent ALL SEASON tire for snow and slush! Had Pirelli Pzero all season tires (15k miles) and slid on almost on any snow and the rear of the (AWD) car fishtailed! I did test drive identical S90 with Continental Procontact TXs on it and while good, they were nowhere near as good as Toyo Celsius for stopping and quiet. IMHO, at least 20% quieter over the PZEROs. It seems Toyo just started making the Celsius in a 255/40/r19 configuration in late 2018 so there isn’t a lot of data for it and few companies know to offer them; Tirebuyer had them in their configuration tool for the S90 but Tirerack didn’t. The price was a 3rd less than Continental or Pirelli. GREAT TIRE – Will update again after 10k miles.

We now have the Toyo Celsius on 2 vehicles, 2013 Mercedes GLK350 installed fall 2017 and 2009 Acura TL fall 2018. The OEM size was not available for the Acura so I put on 235/55/17. They work perfectly. We live on Vancouver Island so rain and standing water are facts of life in the winter. They are FANTASTIC in the rain. Last winter the GLK handled the snow, such as it is here, very well. They are very quiet and better than average on dry pavement. No idea about tread life at this point. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

Only drive this one 5000 km/yr. Was looking for an all-weather tire with better traction than my old worn Michelin all-seasons for year-round use and low cost. CRV takes off like a rabbit but didn't corner much or stop easily on snow/ice. This one seems to corner and stop much better with about twice the traction. Noisy like in a propeller airplane taxiing. Would not buy if my main ride due to tire hum.
