The latest in our line of environment-conscious tires, the Ecopia™ EP422™ is an all-season tire that delivers a smooth, comfortable ride. It is designed to improve rolling resistance, which helps it achieve better gas mileage. With its innovative tread compound and advanced traction technology, the tire is a strong, reliable performer on wet and dry surfaces all year long.

  • NANOPRO-TECH improves rolling resistance and contributes to fuel-efficiency and CO2 reduction by controlling the interaction between polymer, filler materials and other rubber chemicals at the molecular level.
  • FUEL SAVER SIDEWALL COMPOUND helps lower rolling resistance by both returning more energy back to the tire and reducing heat generation as compared to a traditional sidewall.
  • SILICA improves traction in wet conditions by increasing flexibility of tread compound.
  • RECYCLED GROUND RUBBER made from ground-up post-consumer tires, it contributes to 5% of the tread compound.
  • CIRCUMFERENTIAL GROOVES help channel water out of the footprint area to improve resistance to hydroplaning.

Noise level was high. Hydroplaned really bad. Very uneven wear. At 30k developed a bad vibration two tires were bubbling and about to blow. Never recommend this tire to anyone.

I've never had a set of tires wear so prematurely. I have maybe 21,000 kms (13,000 miles) on these, rotate them every oil change, run winter tires in the winter (these are horrible in the snow, but are not designed for it) and I feel like I'll be lucky to complete the summer portion of my lease with these tires (80k/50m lease, summer tires used for 40k/25m of that). They perform decently on pavement but if you do any gravel road driving these are not the tire for you. Recently had a rock on a gravel road go thru the tread and completely destroy one of the tires, no warranty coverage and it pained me to buy another one to replace it, would love to replace all 4 tires but not willing to invest in a leased vehicle. Really disappointed in Nissan for including these on the Rogue SL (Platinum Reserve), Will ensure that I do not receive another vehicle with these tires.
